About Course

What is this ‘Microlearning Course’ about?

This course provides the theoretical aspects of the CET subject “Smart Sensors and Devices” in School of Engineering, Temasek Polytechnic. LabVIEW and hardware from National Instruments are used to build sensor and actuator networks to enable edge computing, data aggregation and data communication for IoT connectivity.

You are advised to take these 2 courses in sequence.
1.  Labview for Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
2.  IIOT Smart Sensors and Actuators

Who is this course designed for?

This course is suitable for participants who like to gain knowledge in implementing IoT solutions using LabVIEW and devices from National Instruments.

What will you take away?

After completing both modules, the participants will have an overview of IoT, be able to create Human Machine Interface using LabVIEW, understand what are sensors and actuators, and know about interfacing using data acquisition devices.
