About Course

What is this ‘Microlearning Course’ about?
This e-learning course aims to equip learners with practical knowledge, skills and techniques to manage their stress during a crisis using the 5R stress buster strategy: Recognise, Reframe, Recharge, Reach out, Resilience. Through daily practice of this 5R Stress Busters Strategy, learners would develop optimism and resilience to turn pain into gain to rise above Covid-19 pandemic. In the process, they would also be able to reach out to their families, friends, colleagues, and the community in a concerted effort to rise above the Covid-19 pandemic.

We thank our partner, Health Promotion Board, for their contributions in selected sections of this course.

What Will You Learn?

  • Psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors and other mental health experts have reported treating an increasing number of people with significant stress and anxiety issues resulting from the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. New stressors such as restricted social connections during circuit breakers and lock-downs, loss of freedom and security to do normal daily activities, fear of death and economic uncertainty are threatening the mental health of people worldwide.
